Woohoo, you’re here! Welcome to our first ever JamBooth Blog post! We’re stoked to be here, downloading a bit of ourselves onto the site every so often. We plan on adding some pretty fun content to this feature on the site, so be sure to stay tuned!
We figured that for our first JamBooth content contribution, we would give you a little background on who we are and what we do. So without further ado, let us introduce ourselves!
In summary, our names are Brandon and Jen(nifer). Married bff’s, music lovers, joke makers, child wranglers, nap enthusiasts, ice cream eaters, selfie partners… Honestly, the list could go on, but you get the gist.
Basically, we’re your typical fun-loving couple. We’ve been married a bunch of years and are effectively outnumbered by our 3 wild and crazy kids. We love it though! Family life with 2 adults, 3 kids, and two doggos is an adventure, but so worth it. (As this is being typed, the previously mentioned “kids” are running around the house screaming and playing hide and seek. Makes for an easy blogging session, don’t ya think?)
Both of us have previous experience in the entertainment world. Jen has had the pleasure of performing as a singer at various events over the years. She’s performed at weddings, is involved with her church choir, and has even had the honor of singing The National Anthem on occasion. She has been involved with vocal arranging and recording on several locally produced albums. She’s even spent a few years performing in a cover band or two here in Hampton Roads!
Aside from music, her parents also owned a local baking business. They would make giant cake creations with stunning details and catered to mostly weddings, military events, and birthdays. This gave Jen a taste for providing a great service for big events while utilizing an attention to detail and consideration of the client at hand. She’s so excited to take that same work ethic and apply it to your Mirror Me Booth session!
Brandon has mastered the art of being all business, AND all fun! He has spent time working in a wide range of fields, from catering to managing finances at large corporations. Over the years, he’s been involved with the planning of corporate events, weddings, conferences and all sorts of celebrations in between! With a desire for new experiences, Brandon is always looking to improve and learn something new. He also sings on occasion, plays guitar and has been involved in a few local projects himself!
We can’t forget to add that this guy is a serious smarty pants! Growing up in Virginia Beach and graduating with honors from Virginia Tech, he also received his Masters in Business Administration from ODU. Working full-time in a managerial position, being a super dad, and achieving an MBA has been no small feat. With his strong business background, attention to detail and an insane work ethic, he is sure to bring a quality experience to anything he puts his mind to!
That brings us to JamBooth! As a couple who obviously can’t sit still for long, we started JamBooth Photos as a way to enrich and add flare to the events happening all around us in Hampton Roads! We have always loved all things photo booth! At home, we’ve spent so many hours entertaining ourselves with fun filters and silly snapchats. This “magic mirror” is the perfect, fresh upgrade to your standard photobooth! We don’t just say that to sell it, we really love this thing! It’s a crazy amount of fun! The Mirror Me Booth is simple to use, while not compromising the fact that it’s a slick piece of beautiful selfie-taking magic.
